Project Manager (Fisher River Building Supplies) – Full Time Opportunity

The Project Manager will manage the planning, resourcing, scheduling and administration of projects to deliver them on time and within budget.

Job Duties

  • Ensuring project team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables
  • Ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project
  • Communicating plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders
  • Solving any issues that may arise during the project
  • Managing and building relationships with multiple teams
  • Managing day-to-day activities for the Project Management team
  • Analyzing project data and producing progress reports
  • The Project Manager will report to the General Manager

Qualifications

  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Degree in Business or 3 years’ experience in related field
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills
  • Familiarity with software, project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Advanced analytical and time management skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and work well under pressure
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent punctuality and work ethic
  • Able to lead and motivate others

Work Conditions

  • May be required to work alone, in office or on site
  • Fast paced and may require working extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines
  • Must be physically capable of working in extreme elements and able to lift 50 lbs
