That’s a wrap! We extend our deepest appreciation to the entire community, off-reserve members, and visitors from far and wide who joined us in commemorating our 150th Anniversary Celebrations, which honored the signing of Treaty No. 5 in 1875. A heartfelt thank you also goes out to our sister community, Norway House Cree Nation, for their meaningful presence during this momentous occasion.
Furthermore, we express our gratitude to all who participated in the other events, including the 19th Annual Community Celebration and Ada Wilson “Grey Cloud Woman” Pow Wow. We would like to recognize and thank our 150th Committee, Community Celebration Committee, and Pow Wow Committee for their unwavering dedication and meticulous planning that spanned months. Your hard work and commitment were truly crucial in ensuring the success of our diverse and engaging celebrations. As well as our Security personnel, cleaning crews and summer students for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our grounds.
