Fisher River Cree Nation Chief and Council and Lands Department invites all Nation members to join an important discussion about the development of the Fisher River Cree Nation Matrimonial Property Law.

The purpose of this law is to address matrimonial real property situated on Fisher River Cree Nation reserve land in the event of the breakdown of a marriage or common-law relationship, or upon the death of a spouse

This will be an opportunity for Nation members to review the draft law, share your thoughts, ask questions, and help shape a law that reflects Fisher River Cree Nation values, traditions and priorities. The draft law and information packages will be shared at the event.
