1.0 FTE – Medical Transportation Clerk

JOB SUMMARY: To provide clerical support to the Medical Transportation Coordinator. The Medical Transportation Clerk will assist with coordinating referral criteria for members requiring medical transportation to medical appointments and with the scheduling of the medical drivers. The MT Clerk will work with all areas of Health, including assisting in compiling monthly/annual reporting data for funding purposes; as well the Clerk will assist in communication for the safety and care of all Medical Transportation vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal training and/or a minimum of two years’ experience with administrative duties as it pertains to filing, documents, forms, or retrieving of files;
- Knowledge of data entry (working with CRW Data Entry System) understanding basic accounting, preparing travel cheques in MT Coordinator’s. absence;
- Clear understanding of PHIA, confidentiality and data protection;
- Good organizational and time management skills;
- Good physical, mental & emotional health:
- Able to take direction and follows through to completion of tasks;
- Very good interpersonal skills: respectful and professional attitude; good writing and communication skills;
- Must abide by Fisher River Cree Nation’s policies and by-laws and Illegal Drug Testing;
- Must have clear and updated Criminal Record Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check;
