We’ll be there to listen and learn from September 28 to October 2
Our job is to tell stories that reflect our province’s many people and places. Communities in Focus is a community news bureau project that aims to hear Manitobans’ stories and share them with the rest of the province.
CBC Manitoba is coming to Fisher River Cree Nation to meet with the community to hear the stories that matter to the people who live there.
Here’s who’s joining us to spend time in Fisher River Cree Nation and meet the community.
- CBC Manitoba journalists Santiago Arias Orozco and Sierra Sanders
- Videographers Travis Golby and Kevin Nepitabo
- Community Connection Senior Producer Nadia Kidwai
- Information Radio host Marcy Markusa and associate producer Cory Funk
- CBC Manitoba News at Six host Brittany Greenslade
- CBC Manitoba’s new Interlake reporter, Tyler Searle
We’ll be covering stories while we’re in Fisher River, as well as hosting a live episode of CBC Manitoba’s Information Radio with Marcy Markusa.
