Fisher River Cree Nation (FRCN) is looking for community members that are interested in driving the motor coach bus.
Interested community members are asked to submit a letter of interest with a brief description of your background and provide supporting documents, such as your driver’s license and driver’s abstract.
Selection of qualified individuals will be determined by FRCN Leadership once submissions are complete.
Eligible Applicants must:
- Be a member of the Fisher River Cree Nation;
- Hold a Valid Class 1 License with Air Brake
- Provide a Driver’s Abstract – Clean Driving record
- Must refrain from alcohol and drug use for duration of
- Adhere to the FRCN Employment Policy and pre-employment requirements
- adherent to the FRCN Drug By-law 2004-01, Sec. 8.01.
- complete a child and adult abuse registry check and criminal record check.
Duties of Bus Drivers:
- Take additional Training required to operate
- Drivers along with Bus Transportation Coordinator are responsible for completing a vehicle inspection checklist before and after each trip.
